The New England Patriots will look to overhaul their offensive line this offseason, and that could come with some players getting cut.

Quarterback Drake Maye was constantly under pressure in the playoffs and the Super Bowl, and many analysts urged the team to make some significant changes to their offensive line.

Patriots insider Chad Graff of The Athletic named center Garrett Bradbury as a potential cut candidate.

“The Patriots’ roster is in relatively good shape,” Graff wrote in an article published on Tuesday. “Unlike past years, there aren’t any obvious candidates to cut. They could split with wide receiver Stefon Diggs or tight end Hunter Henry given the lack of guaranteed money remaining on their respective contracts.

“But wide receiver and tight end are already positions of need for the Pats. So, perhaps they move on from Bradbury as they usher in offensive line changes.”

Bradbury signed a two-year, $9.5 million deal with the Patriots last offseason and has a cap hit of $7.4 million in 2026. Yet, after some mixed results in 2025, Graff believes New England should move on from Bradbury.

If the Patriots do move on from Bradbury, New England will need to find a new center, whether that’s through the draft or free agency. But it does appear the Patriots are going to overhaul their offensive line after last year’s struggles.
