Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is 12 points away from hitting the 43,000 points mark in his NBA career, meaning that he'll likely eclipse the figure during Sunday's game against the Boston Celtics in LA.

Already the league's all-time leading scorer, James continues to re-define longevity in 2025-26. The 41-year-old All-Star is averaging 21.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 7.2 assists per game, shooting 49.9% from the field and 30.6% from three-point range over 33.3 minutes per contest.

James remains a focal point of the Luka Doncic-centric offense, showcasing his playmaking ability with consistent assist numbers and efficient scoring. A standout moment came on February 12 against the Dallas Mavericks, where he posted 28 points, 10 rebounds, and 12 assists, becoming the oldest player in NBA history to record a triple-double.

In recent action post-All-Star break, he contributed 13 points and 11 assists in a February 20 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.
