A.J. Brown used to play for Mike Vrabel and has trolled New England Patriots fans in the past about being traded to New England. However, he is once again fueling trade rumors.

In April 2025, Brown pranked Eagles fans by holding up a No. 11 Patriots jersey in a video with the caption, "The wait is finally over." It was actually just a signed Julian Edelman jersey. On Wednesday, he appeared in the latest episode of "Dudes on Dudes" with Edelman and Rob Gronkowski. He once again fueled trade rumors by trolling Eagles fans.

Near the end of the podcast, Edelman said, "Just remember, we're all Patriots. You know that, right?"

Brown winked at the camera, which led to him, Edelman and Gronkowski sharing a big laugh. Brown clarified he was "trolling," but that does not mean a trade is out of question.

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler recently reported that the Eagles are expected to entertain offers for Brown.  Brown has been involved in trade rumors since the middle of last season. He has shown frustration with the Eagles' offense at times, and he is once again a popular name in trade rumors this offseason.

The Eagles' offense was inconsistent last season, and Brown had the second-fewest receiving yards he's ever had in a season. Brown wears his emotions on his sleeve and was seen arguing with head coach Nick Sirianni on the sideline in the playoffs. That also fueled trade rumors when the Eagles' season ended.

Earlier in the podcast, he praised Vrabel and his coaching style. He has a lot of respect for his former head coach with the Tennessee Titans. Brown has a $23 million cap hit next season, and trading him may make sense for the Eagles. It's unclear whether the Eagles would actually trade Brown, but it's clear that he likes playing for Vrabel.
